All athletes should report at the clubhouse for 6pm where teams will be selected on the night. Cost is £1 per runner per race. For further info please contact your coach.

Ailis Clements Gold U17W Hammer with a new club record of 39.02m adding nearly 4m to her previous best. Shannon McMahon reached the Under 13 girls 100m final finishing in a fine 4th position 14.75 and Arlene Barr reached the U15 girls 100m final also running well to finish in 6th place 13.85.

In the senior closed champs David Gorman manged 4th place in his 800m heat running a time of 2min 04.29sec.

Congratulations to the athletes who competed today in the above champs. In the West District age group champs there were Gold medals for Gregor Thorpe U17 100m 12.16 and Ross Maxwell U13 Long Jump 4.69m. Silver Medals went to Nishant Puri U17 100m 12.28, Gregor Thorpe U17 LJ 5.58m, Stuart Muir U17 Hammer 30.31m and Ross Maxwell U13 100m 13.3. Ross Morgan U17 LJ 4.90m took the Bronze Medal. Zoe Haddow ran 46.31 to qualify for the final of the U17W 300m where she manged a fine 7th place in 46.32. In addition at the Closed Senior Championships Fraser Morgan got a new pb of 56.58 in his 400m heat, Jamie Clements ran 51.76 to finish 4th in his heat, Stephens Matthews finished 7th in his heat of the 1500m in 4:15.54 and finally Beth Duff ran 58.41 in her heat to qualify for the 400m Senior final where she ran a new pb of 57.97 to finish in 6th position.
