Leading the way were the young females who were led in by an excellent run from Megan Stewart in 4th position. Deborah Stokoe was 6th fastest U17 with our fastest girls time of the day in 9.51. The positions and times of the three teams were:

27 Abby Stafford 11.24, 26 Rona Calder 10.57, 27 Hayley Frier 11.05

In the boys we also had three teams competing and Adam Gatens was the fastest from the club and 12th fastest U17 overall with a time of 8.27 the results were:

31 Jack Kirwan 10.43, 27 Ben Stafford 9.32, 23 Adam Gatens 8.27

33 Michael Hackett 10.52, 28 Scott Murray 9.28, 29 Andrew Shaw 9.12

Onto the Seniors and with an injection of youth in the A team (three U20’s) the guys managed a fine 12th position overall. Not to be outdone there were some resolute performances from the old codgers, sorry masters, in the B team. Running solo in the ladies race was club coach Elaine Calder who ran well to place 12th on the first leg in a time of 17.15.
