DIET COKE HALF MARATHON & 10Km SUNDAY 24TH JUNE 2007

This is the largest event of the calendar year that East Kilbride Athletic Club organises. Just like our small fun run the other week this race also requires marshals. This time we need over 40 to make the race run smoothly.

The commitment involved would be to meet at the John Wrights car park for 8am to receive your allocated position and instructions. You can then either make your own way to your position or be transported by bus to your position. The car park will be closed at this point so please park in the adjacent streets. A goody bag will be issued to all marshals consisting of t-shirt and refreshments. The wheelchair race starts at 9.15am and the main race starts at 9:30 marshals must be in place by 9am. Duration will be approx 3 hours depending on the speed of the runners. Please be prepared for poor weather even at the end of June!!!

If anyone feels they can assist I would be pleased to hear from them ASAP. This is just a small opportunity to help promote the club that your child competes for. An organised race reflects well upon our club.

Thanking you in advance.
