Getting to know the track can be quite difficult so we've provided some information to get you going. Click on the image to the left to enlarge it.
Some basics:
(1) If you are running and someone steps in your path you should shout "track" to warn them.
(2) Lane one is for sprinting distances longer than 100m, lane two through to four are for speed work, lanes five, six and seven are for hurdles and Lane eight should be used for jogging only.
(3) You should alwaysrun round the track anti-clockwise.
